Carolyn, a native of Stratford, Ontario has a Hospitality Management Diploma from Cornell University and is currently attending The University of Waterloo. Carolyn is married and the mother of four energetic boys. For five years, she owned and operated Carolyn's Boutique, a store that sold family apparel in Stratford. At the same time, she managed her father's hotel, The Victorian, and his real-estate holding company, L.F. Drummond Limited. When her father passed away, she and her sister Dyan continued operating the115 room Hotel and Conference Facility, for 16 years until selling it in December 2006.

Today, Carolyn is a health advocate, and is proud to be a Rotarian. She is active in her community and has served on the Gallery Stratford Board. She is a founding member of the Stratford Book Festival, a Sunday school teacher and volunteers at her children's school. Carolyn is active, and promotes physical activities whenever possible, and has dedicated her life to helping others achieve their potential by coaching figure skating, soccer, basketball, baseball, cross-country and track and field. She is a former national figure skater and runner, and has run ten marathons, including the infamous Boston Marathon.

Recently, Carolyn hosted for a Boston Marathon qualifier in Stratford for the Rotary Club. Carolyn armed with the childhood statistics on obesity; recommended Marathon officials focus on the promotion of healthy lifestyles in children, leading the way for the first, Stratford Rotary Kids Fun Mini-Marathon in the spring 2009. The interest in this program was phenomenal, with over 2000 children participating in the Mini-Marathon. The committee members have recommended that Rotary Clubs around the world start their own Mini-Marathon programs.
